There is some major growing going on this week! The nose, mouth, and ears that I will spend so much time kissing in eight months are beginning to take shape. If I could see the baby right now, I'd find an oversize head and dark spots where the baby's eyes and nostrils are starting to form. The babies heart is beating about 100 to 160 times a minute — almost twice as fast as mine— and blood is beginning to course through the babies body. Right now, my baby is a quarter of an inch long, or about the size of a lentil!
How far along? 6 weeks
Symptoms: Im exhausted, and I've been hitting a wall of nausea every day around 3:00-5:00 that lasts me through the evening :(
Total weight gain/loss: none yet
Maternity clothes? Not really yet.
Sleep: LOVE. Can't get enough.
Best moment this week: A good friend telling that she was SO excited she told every last one of her friends!!! This does not bother me in the least as its a circle very removed from us.
Movement: None yet- its too early
Food cravings: Nothing yet- but I'm trying to eat a large variety of foods.
Gender: No hints of feels of the sex yet
Belly Button in or out: In
What I miss: chardonnay
What I am looking forward to: Our ultrasound on Tuesday!
