Ive been searching for a dresse to convert into a Media table for months.. finally... the light at the end of a tunnell.. I have found an awesome 1920's mahogony dresser that needs a little TLC..
Here she is.. we'll call her Jane.
Shes sturdy, solid wood, dovetail joints.. All she needs is a little paint, right? Wrong. Once getting her home and REALLY taking a good look at Jane, I notice she needs a new peice of tracking so the drawers open and close smoothly and evenly. Bummer.
another fail- the man measured it wrong. Im not quite sure WHAT he measured, but he wasnt measuring this dresser with an american measuring tape. he told me the unit is 17 inches deep, when in fact, its 22. This presents a slight issue.... So.. who knows.. maybe I will just have some fun with it by repainting and repairing, and reselling.
